I’ll make a confession right here: I continuously seek out stories about young, middle class, over-privileged people who drown their “problems” in alcohol, idiotic behavior, and desperate search for connection. I think it’s because 99% stories on this subject suck, and the remaining 1% succeed and bring forth both delightful and terrifying realization about the future of this country. Because no country does the over-privileged angsty idiot thing like USA, and I say this with love and as a member of this over-privileged angsty idiot group.
The point I’m trying to make is, I will read this book.
